JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus BTech Admission 2013 Jul 6th 2013, 04:39 Admission Notice 2013-14 B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) Admission 2013 Applications are invited for admission to the following B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) and Approved by AICTE and Affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi Courses offered Engineering is the discipline of acquiring and applying scientific, Mathematical, Economic, Social, and Practical knowledge to Design and build structures, Machines, devices, Systems, materials and processes that safely realize improvements to the lives of people B.Tech Engineering Programme we offer is following: B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (ME) B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (EE) B.Tech in Civil Engineering (CVE) Programme Design & Duration: B.Tech is a four-year programme, spread over eight-semesters The programme comprises of various core and elective subjects interspersed with summer trainings All the semesters are a blend of intense classroom learning and hands learning in laboratories The first year of the programme is foundation courses in core engineering subjects with blend of Humanities and Applied Sciences Third Semester onwards, students undergo advanced studies and enhance their skills in the relevant branch Eligibility GGSIP University and follows the rules and regulations decided by the University All has been included in the University Ordinance Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each Subject separately Candidate must additionally have passed English As a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination Selection Selection of candidates are based on IPU-CET Entrance Exam, Followed by IPU Counselling Session for Admission Application forms Candidates who have downloaded the application form for admission from JIMS Institute website www.jimsgn.org Forms are available at all the JIMS institute premises at the cost of Rs.750/- Guidelines for Management Quota: Candidate seeking admission in Management Quota should apply on a prescribed format, available at the reception counter of the Institute The last date for submission of request form for Management Quota is 27th July, 2013 (4.00 p.m.) The institute will not entertain any application received after 27th July, 2013 The Institute would shortlist the applications on the basis of marks obtained by the applicant in the Qualifying Exams Based on the aggregate marks (best-4) obtained in the qualifying examination, the Institute will prepare and display the merit list on 30th July, 2013 at 2.00 p.m. The short listed candidates have to report to the Institute on 31st July, 2013 and deposit the fees on the spot The second list of applicants eligible for Management Quota will be displayed on 02nd August, 2013 only in case of vacancies The candidates shortlisted for admission against Management Quota should carry their original Marksheets, original Admit Card, CET rank proof and photographs number 4 at the time of admission The candidates not carrying the above documents, shall be denied admission and shall have no right for the admission The seat in respect of such candidates will pass on to the next merit holder The post JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus BTech Admission 2013 appeared first on SuccessCDs Engineering Entrance Exams.
