National Institute of Immunology Phd admissions 2014

National Institute of Immunology (NIl) invites applications for Phd in 1) Chemical Biology 2) Genetics & Cell Signalling, 3) Immunity & Infection, 4) Molecular & Cellular Biology, 5) Reproduction & Development and 6) Structural & Computational Biology for 2014-15 session.

Eligibility

M.Sc. or equivalent in any branch of science, or M.Tech. or MBBS or M.V.Sc. or M.Pharm. or equivalent qualification as perthe norms of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, along with 60% aggregate score or equivalent grade in Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) and Bachelor’s Degree and at least 55% aggregate score or equivalent grade in Master’s Degree is required.

NIl will select candidates for Ph.D. programme through the following CHANNELS.

I.             Joint Graduate Entrance Examination in Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS; December 2013)

II.            Joint CSIR-UGCTestfor Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

III.           DBT Junior Research Fellowship (DBT-JRF)

IV.          ICMR Junior Research Fellowship (ICMR-JRF)

V.            Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)
