IISER Pune Phd admissions 2014 Oct 9th 2013, 10:22, by nbm IISER Pune Phd in Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Maths admissions 2014 Indian Institute of Science and Research (IISER), Pune, invites applications for admissions to PhD program in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics for January 2014 session. Eligibility for Phd in Chemistry 60% marks or equivalent CGPA for General/OBC (55% for SC/ST) in M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics/Biochemistry/Material Science/Bioinformatics/Pharmacy. Additionally, the candidate MUST have qualified any ONE of the following exams: National Eligibility Test (NET) with VALID CSIR-JRF/UGC-JRF or DBT-JRF-A or ICMR-JRF OR  Must have passed CSIR-LS or DAE-JEST or GATE in last two years with a valid score. OR IISER BS-MS Dual degree students with CGPA greater than or equal to 7.0 IISER Phd in Chemistry application form 2014 Eligibility for Phd in Biology Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on the score in JGEEBILS and the following Eligibility Criteria: 1.     60% marks or equivalent CGPA for General/OBC (55% or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST) in M.Sc in any branch of Science –Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Biological Sciences/Ecology & Environmental Sciences/Biodiversity or equivalent. B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech or MBBS degree holders may also apply. 2.     Additionally, the candidate MUST have qualified any ONE of the following exams: National Eligibility Test (NET) with VALID CSIR-JRF/UGC-JRF or DBT-JRF-A or ICMR-JRF or ICAR-JRF or BINC. OR Must have passed CSIR-LS or DAE-JEST or NBHM or GATE or GPAT in last two years with a valid score. o   For CSIR-LS rank-holders up to rank 200 are eligible. o   For DAE-JEST/GATE/GPAT rank-holders up to rank 500 are eligible. OR  IISER BS-MS (All IISERs) Dual degree students with a CGPA which is greater than or equal to 7.0.
