Degree Programme in applied Electronics Admission 2013 Applications are invited for admission to the M.Tech Degree Programme in Applied Electronics at the Mahatma Gandhi University College of Engineering, Thodupuzha during the academic year 2013-15 Duration: 2 years (4 semesters) Eligibility: The candidate shall be an Indian National The candidate should have studied the Graduate programme in an institution approved by the AICTE Candidate should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the Engineering Degree examination in any one of the following branches Electronics Engineering; Electronics and Communication Engineering; Applied Electronics; Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering; Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering For SC/ST candidates a pass in the Engineering Degree programme in any one of the above mentioned branches is sufficient Candidate who has appeared for the final semester examination can also apply, provided he / she has passed all the subjects up to and including the 6th semester exam Such candidates shall submit self-attested copies of all mark lists up to 6th semester along with the application Selection Produce Selection of such candidates shall be subject to the production of qualifying degree on or before 30th September, 2013 Admission shall normally be restricted to those with valid GATE score In case seats remain vacant due to lack of candidates with valid GATE score, candidates without valid GATE score will be considered against such vacancies Fee structure: The following will be the fee structure for the programme Admission fee: Rs. 100/- Onetime fee: Rs. 15,000/- Tuition fee: Rs. 45,000/- (per semester) Special fee: Rs. 1,100/- (per year) Caution Deposit: Rs. 5,000/- (refundable) Rs. 1,000/- (refundable for SC/ST/OEC candidates) SC/ST/OEC candidates are exempted from paying all fees other than Admission fee and Caution Deposit Reservation of seats: 36 seats will be distributed under General Category and among eligible communicates as following: General: 22%; Scheduled Caste: 03%; Scheduled Tribe: 01%; Ezhava: 03%; Muslim: 03%; Other Backward Hindu: 02%; Latin Catholic other than Anglo-Indian: 01%; Other Backward Christian: 01% Total reservation seats: 36 Application Form Applications should be filled online logging on to the website of the Mahatma Gandhi University College of Engineering, Thodupuzha www.ucet.ac.in The different entries in the application are to be filled with extreme care, as this information is used for preparing the rank list After submitting the application online, a printout of the application should be taken and sent along with an application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- in the case of SC/ST candidates) in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the “The Principal, University College of Engineering, Thodupuzha”, payable at State Bank of Travancore, Muttom Branch (70441) The printout of the application and the demand draft should be sent to the Principal, Mahatma Gandhi University College of Engineering, Muttom Post -Thodupuzha, Kerala- 685587 along with self-attested copies of the following documents Engineering Degree certificate and mark lists of all the semesters (mark lists up to 6th semester in the case of candidates appeared for the final semester exam) GATE Score card (for candidates with valid GATE score) Community Certificate issued by the Tahsildar for candidates who claim eligibility for reservation under SC / ST category Community and income certificates issued by the Village Officer for candidates who claim eligibility for reservation under Ezhava / Muslim / OBH / LC / OBX / OEC category Important Dates Submission of online application: 10th June, 2013 to 28th June, 2013 (10.00 a.m to 05.00 p.m) Last date for receiving the printout of application: 05th July, 2013 (05.00 p.m) Publication of rank list: 12th July, 2013 Counselling for all the candidates in the rank list: 24th July, 2013 to 25th July, 2013 Date after which admitted students have to pay liquidated damages for leaving the course: 19th August, 2013 Spot admission, if required: 29th August, 2013 Commencement of classes; 04th September, 2013   The post Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) Kerala MTech Admission Notice 2013 appeared first on SuccessCDs Engineering Entrance Exams.
