Admission Notice 2013-14

Post Graduate MBA (Master of Business Administration) Course 2013

Pursuant to the Government letter ED 177 TEC 2012 dated 25th March, 2013 applications are invited from the eligible interested Karnataka and Non-Karnataka candidates for admission to 01st year MBA course in the institutions affiliated to University as notified by the Govt. of Karnataka for the year 2013-14

Admissions to MBA course will be based only on CMAT scores for 2013 Admissions

No PGCET will be conducted for admission to MBA course

Non-Karnataka students are eligible to select only the seats surrendered by the management, if any

Academic Eligibility:

For Full Time MBA courses:

A candidate who has passed any under graduate examination or equivalent examination (herein after referred to as the “qualifying examination” or “Q. E.” in short) and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years is eligible for admission to MBA courses. 45% of marks in both Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates

For Part Time MBA courses:

A candidate who has passed any under graduate examination or equivalent examination (herein after referred to as the “qualifying examination” or “Q. E.” in short) and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years is eligible for admission to MBA courses
45% of marks in both Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-1 candidates

In addition to this candidate after obtaining the complete degree, must have worked for not less than three years before the issue of notification for the relevant year, in an establishment and must be working in an organization situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution in which the candidate seeks admission

How to apply:

Step I: Candidates have to pay an amount of Rs. 600/- for General and OBC (Rs. 300/- SC/ST Category-1) through NEFT from any Nationalised Bank payable to Account No. 878333780 with NEFT/IFSC Code IDIB000M010 at the Indian Bank, Malleshwaram, Branch, Bangalore and send an e-mail to Administrative Office, KEA at keauthourity-ka@nic.in Payment by any other mode will be not accepted

Step II: Candidate will receive at UTR number for having paid the requisite application fee from the Bank

Step III: Enter all such fee paid details ONLINE by browsing URL on website http://kea.kar.nic.in

Step IV: Only upon entry of payment details candidates will be able to enter the application details ONLINE
The detailed instructions are appended on the website

Step V: Enter all application details on the same URL

Step VI: Upload Colour Photograph and Signature in JPG format along with application
KEA will retain one of the original documents of the candidates under acknowledgement which will be returned to the candidate only after candidate obtained admission

After ascertaining the payment details from the bank candidate will be permitted to download the admission ticket

The information/particulars entered by the candidates online for admission to MBA will be deemed as “Final” and will be the basis for further process

No change in any information entered by the candidates will be entertained

The candidates whose result are yet to be announced on date of Document Verification and collection of their password will be permitted to take admissions subject to the condition that they provide the qualifying examination score immediately after the results of the qualifying examination are announced to justify their claim

In the event of them not being qualified for MBA admission will be cancelled automatically

Commencement of Entry of application online: 05th July, 2013
Last date to pay the fees in the bank through NEFT: 15th July, 2013
Last date Entry of Application online: 17th July, 2013
Hosting of Eligibility list as per CMAT score on website: 18th July, 2013
Document verification and collection of password to enter option entry (Detailed scheduled will be hosted along with eligibility list): 19th July, 2013 to 22nd July, 2013
