IIST M.S. admissions 2013 Jun 28th 2013, 03:48 Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology  M.S. admissions 2013 Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram, invites applications for M.S. programme for 2013. Eligibility BE/B.Tech in any branch/M.Sc in Physics with valid score in any one of the following: a. GATE in any one of these codes: PH/EC/EE/XE b. Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) UGC NET (Physical Sciences) Only Indian citizens are eligible. The candidate should have minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 out of 10 in the qualifying examination. Age limit: 28 years as on 16.07.2013. Selected candidates will be given scholarship as per AICTE norms. The selection of candidates will be based on a written test in basic physics followed by an interview on 19th July, 2013. On completion of this M.S programme, outstanding students meeting the Ph.D norms of the institute may be considered for the Ph.D programme in Astronomy & Astrophysics at IIST. IIST M.S. 2013 Application form The last date for receipt of the duly filled-in application along with Demand Draft for Rs.600/- (Rs. 300/- only for SC, ST and women candidates) July 16,2013. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “Registrar, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology,” payable at “Thiruvananthapuram.”
